Flax eggs work great as an egg substitute in vegan baking and are easy to make with just 2 ingredients!
- 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed meal (I most often use golden flaxseed meal but regular works just the same)
- 2.5 tablespoons of water
- In a small bowl, combine the flaxseed meal and water.
- Let sit for 5 minutes to thicken and give it one additional stir. Use in your favorite recipes!
In most recipes, one standard egg can be replaced with ONE flax egg
