January Smoothie Round Up + $1000 Amazon Giveaway!

If you follow me on Instagram then you might have seen my new obsession with smoothies. I started out in the month of January by participating in the green smoothie challenge. Every week they sent out a new recipe and shopping list so that the daily green smoothies never got boring. I found, however, that it was much easier for me to not worry with their recipes and instead just throw whichever greens and fruit I happened to have lying around my house. This was much less stressful and it resulted in me trying out lots of new flavors (like ginger!!).
I decided that in order to not bog down my blog with smoothie recipe after smoothie recipe (because they’re all SO good that I HAVE to share them), I have just started posting the recipes directly on my Instagram. Every third post on my account will be a smoothie. I hope to encourage you to try out some new smoothies and experiment a bit with your ingredients while simultaneously getting an awesome nutrition boost.
I have my smoothie every morning for breakfast (except for the mornings when I’m in a huge rush and then I have it as an afternoon snack when I get home from work). It’s a wonderful start to my day and really encourages me to stay on the right track (and by right track I mean saying no to the constant influx of cupcakes and bbq that is in my office).
At the end of every month, I’ll do a round up here on the blog of the smoothie recipes so that they’re all in one place and easy to access.
So, without further ado.
