- 1 cup of Basmati rice, rinsed
- 1 1/2 cups of water
- salt and pepper to taste
- Place the rinsed rice and water into the instant pot, close the lid, and set the instant pot valve to seal.
- Set it to manual HIGH pressure for 8 minutes and wait. It’ll take the Instant Pot a while to pressurize before the 8 minute countdown begins.
- Once done, quick release the pressure. Fluff the rice with a fork, season with salt and pepper, and ENJOY!
