Chipotle Copycat Sofritas Recipe

This recipe is simple to make and tastes even better than what you'd get at Chipotle! Great for burritos and bowls!

To give your sofritas the best taste, it's important to press your tofu for about 20 minutes using a press or weighing it down with heavy objects


Using your hands, break the tofu into small chunks.


Make the sauce by blending together: chipotle peppers and their sauce, tomato paste, maple syrup, salt, spices, vinegar, and garlic


Saute the onion and tofu until browned a bit around the edges.


Stir in the sauce so that everything is nice and coated.


Serve in a bowl, a burrito or however you'd like!


Serve immediately and ENJOY! Also makes delicious leftovers!
