Healthier Homemade Snickers

These Homemade Snickers are easy to make and a great healthy alternative to your favorite candy bar. 

Cut your dates open and discard the hard pit

Pit your dates

In a large bowl, mix together the oat flour, milk of choice and maple syrup until combined

Make nougat layer

In a loaf pan or small square pan lined with parchment paper, press the nougat layer in evenly

Press in pan

Make the date caramel by blending together the dates and peanut butter

Make the caramel

Once blended, fold in the peanuts to the caramel. Evenly press the caramel on top of the nougat layer

Fold in peanuts

Melt together the chocolate and coconut oil

Melt Chocolate

Slice the bars and dip them in the chocolate. ENJOY!
