Make the cake batter according to package directions and pre-heat the oven.

Divide the batter equally among 6 small bowls* (I like to use a kitchen scale to get the amount of batter in each bowl roughly the same). Add in a few drops of the different food coloring to the different bowls so that you have 6 different colors of cake batter.

Starting with one color, pour in one color of the batter to the bottom of your greased bundt pan. Gently pour the second color on top of the first doing your best not to let the colors mix together too much. Repeat with the remaining colors. If you're doing a classic rainbow, you want to start with red and then orange, yellow, green, blue and purple last.

Place in the oven and bake according to package directions. Let cool and ENJOY!
