If you’re looking for a simple and DELICIOUS snack that’s high in protein and easy to throw together then look no further than these Whipped Cottage Cheese Celery Sticks!
5stalks of Dandy® celerycut 3–4-inch pieces (I cut each stalk into thirds)
1cupof cottage cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
For the buffalo flavor:
Add in 2-4 tablespoons of buffalo sauceStart with 2-3 tablespoons and add more as desired
Optional for serving: shredded Mexican blend cheese
For the everything bagel seasoning flavor:
1-2tablespoonsof everything but the bagel seasoning
For the avocado flavor:
+ 1 avocado
Optional for serving: Pico de Gallo
Instructions
For the everything but the bagel seasoning flavor/ plain:
In a food processor or high-powered blender, blend the cottage cheese until creamy and no chunks remain. About 1-2 minutes.
Divide the whipped cottage cheese evenly among the celery and sprinkle on everything but the bagel seasoning. ENJOY!
For the buffalo flavor:
In a food processor or high-powered blender, blend the cottage cheese and buffalo sauce together until creamy and no chunks remain.
Divide the whipped buffalo cottage cheese evenly among the celery and sprinkle a little shredded cheese (optional). ENJOY!
For the avocado flavor:
In a food processor or high-powered blender, blend the cottage cheese and avocado together until creamy and no chunks remain.
Divide the whipped cottage cheese evenly among the celery and top with the optional Pico de Gallo. ENJOY!
Notes
Place any leftovers in an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to a week (the avocado flavor will likely only last a few days before really browning).
You can add a splash of lemon juice to the avocado flavored whipped cottage cheese to help it brown slower.
