One of my favorite parts about blogging is all of the amazing people that I have had the privilege of getting to know. Especially when I first started blogging, I immersed myself in the community and it’s a large reason that I’m still blogging today. To celebrate that community, I teaming up with a couple great bloggers for the Celebrate Southern Soiree linkup.
The Celebrate Southern Soiree is a linkup about the party! Each week Suz from 2 cats & chloe and J from A Hot Southern Mess join forces with other party hostesses to celebrate all-things-southern for this little linkup Soiree! Join the fun by linking up below! Please share any and all entertainment posts! Think: home decor, wonderful recipes, DIY or even just party ideas! (And you don’t actually have to be a southern blogger to join the fun! The more the merrier!) This grapefruitcocktail is a copycat recipe from a restaurant here in Nashville called Tavern. It’s one of my all time favorites and I’ve wanted to try recreating it at home for a while now. It consists of gin, grapefruit, ginger, and basil.
I kept this cocktail simple. Just muddle a few slices of ginger and some basil together. Shake together with the gin, drain, and then add the grapefruit juice. Easy peasy. (no lemon squeezy (too much??)).
We’ve already had a few good hot, sticky Nashville summer days and this cocktail makes it allll better.
