After buying my house in 2012, I proceeded to paint every single wall in my house with the exception of my kitchen walls (there’s VERY little actual wall space) and the walls in one spare bedroom. Besides that, I went crazy painting the WHOLE house. I think this was partially due to the fact that I’ve never owned my own home before that allowed for me to just do whatever I wanted.

So, to celebrate my freedom, I got a little crazy and just painted away. Away and away. If you look at my Pinterest Home board here, you’ll see that I was just drawn to color.

Now, a year and a half later, I find myself really envying a good white wall like this:

I’m also loving these white walls completely covered with frames:

And these rooms that are just beautifully covered in white:

And this entire home tour featured on Style Me Pretty Living . I just love how much light is in all of these pictures in the home.

Should I paint some walls white again?? I can’t decide. Maybe in my next house.

Happy hump day!

(I pulled all of these pictures from Pinterest)

I agree that white paint can do wonders on your home interior. Not only it can make every room look pristine and immaculate, it also helps in distributing a fair amount of light into a room. Anyway, have you finally decided on what you want to do in your home?

I’ve left all of the walls the way they are for now but I’m still seriously debating going all white soon!! I’m clearly not good at making decisions

I would recommend maybe testing it out on one or two rooms before going through and painting the entire house all over again! All the bedrooms in my house are painted white, but I’ve noticed that scratches and things like that are so much more noticeable on them.

Dropping by from Totally Posted Tuesday! I love the picture wall idea! I’m in a tiny apartment now, but hopefully a house is in our future and a wall just like one of these!

As with most things in my life, I can’t decide. I go back and forth so much that I wouldn’t be surprised if I just left it. It’s like getting a hair cut, I kind of want shorter hair but I’m not willing to commit to it :)

I LOVE white walls , my room has a light pink-ish walls but I can’t wait to dump them white !!

    1. Brita says:

If your walls aren’t white, blush pink is the next best thing though!

That is such a hard decision! I painted all of mine as well when we moved in, but my favorite room to decorate are always the ones with the most neutral colors because you can do the most! Im sure your house is adorbs just as is tho :)
