This Iced Strawberry Latte Recipe is simple to make at home plus it’s made with simple ingredients and no artificial sweeteners! It’s even better than Starbucks!

Why you’ll love this delicious drink!

I LOVE a good iced latte, especially in the heat of the summer. However, I really wasn’t sure how I felt about fruit in my latte like this. I was worried that the chunks of strawberry would seem odd mixed with the coffee but as it turns out, IT’S SO GOOD!
I’ve never actually tried the Strawberry latte from Starbucks but I hear about it often. I love that my homemade version is super simple to throw together and made with simple ingredients that you probably already have lying around :)
Here’s why you’ll love it:
- It’s ready in 5 minutes – faster than a coffee shop run!
- It’s made with real strawberries – no weird syrup or artifical sweeteners.
- You can customize the sweetness – adjust the honey/ maple syrup to your taste.
- The frothy topping is so good – the strawberry milk foam makes it feel REAL special!

Ingredients needed
The ingredients for this recipe are listed fully down in the recipe card but let’s briefly go over the ingredients needed including a few substitutions you can make as desired!
- Fresh Strawberries – for each latte, you’ll need about 2 large strawberries that are pureed using either a grate plate or even just a blender. You can add more strawberry puree as desired.
- Honey or maple syrup – we’re using this instead of simple syrup to sweeten the latte but if you happen to have a homemade strawberry syrup on hand, you can use that as well.
- Ice – this keeps the latte cold and refreshing.
- Milk of choice – dairy or a milk alternative, such as soy milk, coconut milk, or oat milk, will work well. For a richer, more traditional latte, you’ll want to reach for whole milk or cream.
- Espresso/ strong coffee – a fresh shot of espresso makes the biggest difference in flavor! Use strong brewed coffee beans if you don’t have an espresso machine. Cold brew would also work well for this iced coffee.
- Strawberry syrup – used in the frothy milk topping for extra strawberry flavor!
Recipe Tips
- Use ripe strawberries – the riper they are, the sweeter and more flavorful your puree will be.
- Don’t skip straining if you prefer a smooth drink – If you don’t love strawberry seeds in your latte, strain the puree before adding it to the glass.
- Adjust the sweetness to taste – Start with less honey or maple syrup and add more if needed.
- Froth right before serving – The foam holds its texture best when it’s made fresh, right before topping the latte.
