Pomegranate Champagne Cocktail

This post has been sponsored by Korbel® California Champagne. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Pomegranate Champagne Cocktail- this holiday cocktail is easy to make in either a single glass or a pitcher to serve a crowd!

I teased this Pomegranate Champagne Cocktail on my Instagram a few weeks ago and got SO many people asking for the recipe. It’s finally here and it’s SO GOOD!

I had 3 wishes for this cocktail: 1) I wanted it to be simple so that it could easily be made at holiday parties, 2) I wanted it to be delicious (duh!), and 3) I wanted it to be PRETTY! Everyone loves a pretty holiday cocktail. Somehow, it makes the drink taste even better (if that’s possible). I’m happy to report that all THREE of my wishes were granted in this cocktail!

Korbel® Brut has the perfect fruit flavor but isn’t too sweet, which makes it great for pairing with fruit juices such as the pomegranate juice in this recipe. At first I was worried that the simple syrup, fruit juice, and the champagne would be too sweet together, but it turned out perfect! I seriously can’t wait for you to try this (and serve it to all of your holiday guests ;))!

When planning cocktail recipes for cocktail week, one thing that I heard from a few of you was that you wanted options that weren’t too bubbly or carbonated. The Korbel® Brut in this recipe has tiny, delicate bubbles, so I think it’s a great option for those that were looking for that in a cocktail.

Not a pomegranate fan?? This would work well with quite a few different flavors. I originally wanted to make this with blood orange juice but unfortunately, blood oranges aren’t quite in season yet. But they will be just in time for the holidays, so you should give that a try! Cranberry juice is another great holiday-appropriate option.

And I wouldn’t be a good friend if I didn’t remind you to drink responsibly! This cocktail IS very tasty, so I can see why you might want more than one of them, but be smart, okay? Eat food with your alcohol and consider swapping out a different beverage, such as sparkling water or grape juice, for the alcohol in your second cocktail.

And when all else fails, make sure that you have a designated driver or plan on taking a rideshare service, such as Uber, home from holiday parties where you have been drinking. I have a discount code for you next Uber ride that is perfect for holiday party season! Use KORBELHOLIDAY18EVENT to get $5 off of your next Uber ride.
